Herb Butter

I love to keep Herb Butter in my fridge. As we think about the foundations of cooking, herb butter (compound butter) can really help with elevating your dishes!

Ingredients:

1 Stick of Butter⁣⁣

5 Sprigs of Thyme ⁣⁣

2 Sticks of Rosemary⁣⁣

1 Tbsp of Parsley⁣⁣

1 Tbsp of Garlic⁣⁣

Salt & Pepper (to taste)⁣⁣

1 Tsp of Cayenne Pepper⁣⁣

1 Tbsp of Lemon Juice⁣⁣

⁣⁣

Soften a stick of butter. Finely chop all herbs and garlic. Combine the softened butter in a bowl and add herbs, garlic, seasoning, and lemon juice. Once finished used plastic wrap to mold it into a stick of butter again.⁣⁣

Refrigerate until solid. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

Uses:⁣⁣

- Cooking meats⁣⁣

- Flavoring pasta ⁣⁣

- Sautéing veggies ⁣⁣

- Spread on bread ⁣⁣

Substitutes:⁣⁣

If you are vegan/plant-based: ⁣⁣

Instead of using butter use coconut oil! Follow the same recipe above!⁣⁣
